- Contemporary Calgary start their participation with Field Trip

- Contemporary Calgary announces online “Collider In-Residence Artist Residency” artists

- BLM protests erupt in reaction to the deaths of Regis Korchinski-Paquet, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, and all the black lives taken by the criminal justice systems of the world
- 3 weeks after the protests started, Contemporary Calgary internally shared their BLM statement and tentative plans of re-opening with Planetary artists
- Artists request to remove work from the exhibition

Contemporary Calgary and the Indigenous and racialized artists attempt to work together on ways to move forward, taking part in multiple conversations
Contemporary Calgary informs all the artists that the exhibition will not reopen due to the difficult events
